Yamaha CS1X

The Yamaha CS1X Control Synthesizer is designed for the Dance music market having
some great analog type sounds. But it can also be used for ambient music and in XG
mode as a multi-timbral synthesizer.
The Yamaha CS1X has two main modes, the performance mode and the multi mode.
In the performance mode you have access to 930 "analog" voices. In the Blue Book called as
"Material Voices".
If you haven't got the Blue Book yet, its available from your Yamaha dealer. The Blue Book
is an advanced guide to the Yamaha CS1X and includes two disks with midi files, song demos and
some new sound patches. With this book you can get the most out of your Yamaha CS1X.
